Today’s the Day

March 6th, 2010 by frikifrankie

And last night was definitely a blast.

Registration ran smoothly with some swank tunes in the background by DJ Diabolik.

Good times at GGR Scooters and the 4th Avenue Rumble didn’t quite go off as planned but made for tons of raucous laughs.
And what was up with that guy with the bullhorn? Nevermind.

Today, early morning folks are meeting up at Crave and embarking on the Mount Lemmon Ride and we’ve heard there’s a great turnout.

From 9 a.m. -11 a.m., late risers can head over to Cereal Boxx Bakery and Desserts on University to meet-up, plan out a strategy for the Passport Tour.
Remember you get raffle tickets in exchange.

10 a.m. the Mission Ride leaves from The Hut.

And at noon we’ll all converge on Sir Veza’s Taco Garage. See you there.

Ladies and gentelmen start your engines.

Events Calendar, Tips, and Sign-In for Rally

March 4th, 2010 by frikifrankie

If you’re having a bit of difficulty using the Calendar in our sidebar. Here’s a nice big one for you.

In addition. Here’s a few tips if you’re visiting Tucson from out-of-town.

  1. Rides are open to all scooters with the exception of Mount Lemmon.
We recommend large scooters. No worries, you’ll be back in plenty of time for Free lunch at Sir Veza’s.
  2. Wear layers of clothing – Temps will be in the 70s this weekend but there’s a stark difference between day and night temps, 20-30 degrees.
  3. Beware the trolley tracks on 4th Ave.
They’ve been the scene of a crime for many a bicycle, motorcycle, and scooter. Tires fit perfectly inside and can cause nasty accidents.

Sign-in is Friday 6-8 p.m. at the Patio Party at Club Congress.

We’ll have your

  • Swag Bag
  • Wristband
  • Passport Tour booklet
  • and Good times ready to roll
